IPS e.max ZirPress is a fluorapatite glass-ceramic ingot for the PRESS-ON technique. The fluorapatite crystals contained in the material are on different sizes and therefore selectively control the relationship between translucency, opalescence and brightness of the restorations. Consequently, complete masking of the less translucent zirconium oxide frameworks is achieved. Frameworks onto which IPS e.max ZirPress has been pressed demonstrate precision, heat resistant ceramic shoulders.

Indications
  • For pressing onto IPS e.max ZirCAD single tooth copings
  • For pressing onto multi-unit IPS e.max ZirCAD bridge frameworks
  • For pressing onto IPS e.max ZirCAD inlay-retained bridge frameworks
  • For pressing onto implant superstructures made of IPS e.max ZirCAD (single tooth copings and bridge frameworks)
  • For pressing onto frameworks, implant abutments and implant superstructures made of
    • Sintered zirconium oxide and HIP zirconium oxide as well as
    • Presintered zirconium oxide and which have a CTE in the range of 100-500°C
  • Veneers
Cementation
Adhesive cementation is required for restorations fabricated in the IPS Empress Esthetic technique.

IPS e.max Ceram
This is a layering ceramic that is compatible with all of the IPS e.max substructure materials. We are able to create an evenly matched smile design when different substructures are used.
